It was a truly remarkable experience staying in a 400-year old traditional Maltese house. But even more remarkable than that are its owners that made me the perfect holiday with their tips&triks. After seeing the whole island, I am definitely sure that Rabat & The Hidden Gem are the perfect places to stay in Malta in terms of everything.

Location is excellent, within a 5 minute walk to the town/shops/restaurants. The hotel is very close to Mdina, about 15 minute walk. Very kind and friendly hosts, they also offered us some helpful advice about Malta. We enjoyed the breakfast very much, I would definately reccommend the English breakfast !! We used the laundry service, this was very good. The room was lovely, we had a twin room with a small balcony, ensuite shower/WC and fridge and TV. The fridge was very handy. The beds were comfortable and we also had air conditioning which was great. It was perfect for us and we really enjoyed our stay. We would definately stay there again.

Wonderfull Villa. The location is excellent close to many restaurants and attractions. Very good breakfast. Delicious cake, coffee, fresh fruit. Great atmosphere. Comfortable and clean room. The owners are very helpfull - thank you Bernadette. Everything was perfect! I would like to come back in this place.

La habitación está en el centro de Rabat, rodeada de restaurantes y con un aparcamiento público a 2 minutos. Jonnhy, el propietario, es muy amable y siempre dispuesto a ayudar.

Would highly recommend myn in Rabat! It is situated in a lovely quiet area and so close to the Mdina. The owner and staff are lovely and friendly, the room was perfect, comfortable and clean. Can walk into Mdina and loads of places of interest /things to do/places to eat

Beautiful character duplex in a great location close to the Medina. Lovely. Surprisingly quiet with the shutters onto the balcony.

The location was spectacular, so close to Mdina, where we could walk around the old city. The surrounding buildings were wonderful and you can spend hours exploring the surroundings. The rooms were spacious and clean, it was wonderful staying there. There was also a kettle in the room The staff was beyond superb, they were extremely helpful, nice and approachable. The breakfast is held in their restaurant, where you can also get lunch and dinner. The breakfast is made on order, and you can choose one of the seven different options. We tried four of them in total, and they were really delicious and the portions were big as well. We will definitely return to this hotel, and recommend it to people who want the perfect place to stay in Malta
