As a solo female traveler, staying here I felt so safe and at home. The owner and his wife are so utterly sweet and hardworking. The owner has a TukTuk and for a very fair price, he picked me up/dropped me off at the train station. On top of this, he offered different excursion options on his TukTuk for tea plantations, hikes, waterfalls, etc. The owner honestly went above and beyond, not only was he a wonderful host, but also a great driver and tour guide. What really touched my heart was when he took me to the Horton Plains National Park and ended up doing the WHOLE hike with me because he did not want me to do it alone and wanted to make sure I was safe. Their home is a very cute 100+-year-old house, with two rooms. The room was spotlessly clean and had comfy beds with warm blankets for the chilly nights. The price includes breakfast and if you have an early excursion/train time they pack you a full breakfast as well! They also offer lunch and dinner, which the wife cooks. It was honestly the best food I had on my trip to Sri Lanka especially the chicken curry and dhal curry.

I was taking some time to write this review because the stay was absolutely spectacular and breathtaking! The over of this amazing home Heidi was the best host I have ever seen ! we had a plan to go around Nuwara Eliya. we told he the plan and she totally reorganize in good way for us to see more of the place and even for better price. She was so welcoming she talked about the area where we stayed also she talked about sri lanka so we got so much new informations. Now the rooms that was something I have never seen in my entire life. one word SPECTACULAR. she did all the rooms by herself. the room was very clean smelled so good. Breakfast was very delicious one day she even cooked a dinner for us. If you are planing to go to the area of Nuwara Eliya the only place to go is Heidis Home. DONT SEARCH FOT ANY OTHER PLACES. The experience from the host and the place is unforgettable! we are definitely coming back

Amazing stay with Rajith and his family. Comfortable room with great bed, with wet room bathroom. Rajith is very helpful and an amazing musician! Rajith’s sister is an amazing cook - highly recommend the dinner cooked by her. The property has a lovely garden, if you have green fingers! Slightly out of town, but really nice walk back along the lake (I think 20 mins walk from centre?).

Amazing apartment, much space, very clean and amazing owner. The food was excellent. The location is so great, just in walking distance to the lowers leaps.

Ajith and his wife make you feel at home. The rooms are clean, with hot showers in the bathrooms. We recommend staying longer; we wish we had. Ajith helped us with a tuk-tuk and organized a budget-friendly safari at Yala National Park. Overall, it was an amazing experience for a reasonable price—simply awesome and excellent value.
