Giovanni and Yutaka, the hosts and owners were very thoughtful and accommodating. We rode on his truck going to their farm where their goats are and it was super fun! The meals prepared by Giovanni, featuring his award-winning goat cheese, are very artfully prepared and served, not to mention very delicious!

Simon was a wonderful host. He tried to help us have the best experience possible on our Kumano Kodo. Is also just a lovely human. The accommodation is in the most gorgeous place, because it was not in a central location. Simon works very hard to shuttle his guests to and from Tanabe and the trailhead. The house itself is beautiful and we enjoyed talking to him and learning about his small village of 70 people.

I Stayed at Guest house Kiyohime before starting the Kumano kodo hike. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly and prepared a delicious dinner and a lunchbox for me. The owner was also kind to drive me to the trailhead in the morning. Amazing stay with wonderful hosts in the heart of nature. Thank you!

    Vam tenir tota l'habitació compartida per nosaltres. Es tracta d'una espècie de xalet que està reconvertit en hostal. No es super modern però hi ha de tot i està ben net i cuidat. Està super aprop de l'estació de Kumano Hongu Taisha, ideal per deixar les coses i començar a caminar per Kumano Kodo. Van ser uns 24€/nit. Els propietaris ens varen regalar quatre coses per berenar. Hi ha via aire acondicionat a l'habitació compartida.

    Estàvem de pas per anar a Kumano Kodo. L'hostal està bastant xulo i queda a 2 min de s'estació de tren. En frente té una hamburgueseria super recomanable. L'habitació compartida eren lliteres de fusta bastant noves i ben independitzades, amb varis conectors per carregar electronica. Van ser uns 20€/nit. Molt bona opcio com a escala per anar cap a Kumano Kodo.
