They recommended an excellent restaurant for dinner and made sure we were settled in and comfortable. The apartment was charming with curved brick ceiling and was well equipped. Breakfast is at an adjacent cafe/bar.Venosa is a lovely old town complete with castle and roman ruins

She and her husband are great bakers ( they also have a bakery shop Next to the apartment) The Room was big, neat and clean. The heating was Turned on, it was so nice, it was raining cats and dogs outside.
