We found the location very interesting and saw parts of the ‘real’ city of Sciacca. It was not central it seems and streets are VERY steep to walk. Driving is ridiculous. don’t let Google maps find the ‘shortest’ way - omg! our host gave good advice and we landed at a superior mixologist bar. Excellent in every way. Local color wonderful. Host does not speak so get out a translator. Accommodations spacious and complete. Very thoughtful and kind host. Saw a lot of the regular life of a working class city and missed the charming parts. We could have been more prepared!
