The owner, Enrico, was always helpful and smiling. He made us feel very comfortable there. The location was very near the water, restaurants, etc, The shoreline in Marina di Pisa is beautiful, yet rocky. I had read there were places with sandy shores nearby. He gave us a map and suggested where to go. We took the bus a few miles down where the shore is sandy, rented an umbrella and two chairs for $10 and stayed all day. We really enjoyed Marina di Pisa and would recommend it to anyone wanting a change from the big, busy cities, such as Rome and Florence.
