The hotel and room were wonderful - it is the artist's former house and is a beautiful old house with several rooms. Ours was huge with a fridge coffee maker and silver ware to make it easy to have snacks and breakfast in the room. The location is perfect for exploring Barga. It was spotless and we loved exploring the galleries filled with the artist Cordati's works.

Great location for touring around the area by car. The views from the place are just stunning. Anna Maria is a great host. She went out of her way to help me try and arrange a visit to a nearby church and shared things from her garden and orchard.

In Castello is located right behind the town hall of Gallicano, and there was free parking just a short distance away. the room was small, but charming, with the original stone walls of the property exposed in places.
