Room was very attractively furnished and very clean. We had room with balcony and sea view overlooking the lagoon, though weather very wet and windy whilst we were there so didn’t get the most out of these. Host very helpful, and several options for eating in the town. We had a very pleasant meal at El Grillo Bar just across the street. Vey scenic drive from Egilsstadir.

The owner of the guesthouse is extremely helpful She even gave me a ride with my heavy luggage in her own car early in the morning a few blocks down the street to a sailboat I was meeting to crew on.

Kitchen is fully equipped. Common areas are kept clean. I loved the sustainablility idea inside the hostel. It has sauna open for all people staying at the hostel :) Great stay while driving to the north east. Hostel is in a cozy city next to the bay surrounded by many attractions (waterfalls, hiking, sculptures)
