The room was warm, the beds comfortable, we appreciated the Skyr in the fridge for breakfast. Host was very friendly, supported us when we got stranded in the village due to roads closed. A great place to stay, in a quiet and beautiful village.

The property is very nice and the most comfortable guesthouse/hostel we have ever stayed. The kitchen and dining area was large enough to share. Almost all of the guests were very respectful and courteous regarding noise, etc. I was glad to have the opportunity to wash laundry without any extra cost. There was a back patio, but it was too windy/chilly to enjoy. We were comfortable staying here with our 2 small children.

Beautiful historic hotel in a quaint Icelandinc village, a great experience. The rooms are beautifully decorated with vintage furniture and super stylish, we loved it, and the facilities are excellent. please don’t be put off by other reviews mentioning you can hear the wooden floors when other guests are walking, it’s simply not the case and the peoperty is too charming to focus on these details, which are of course normal for a historic house. Truly enjoyable experience, would absolutely recommend.

This is actually more of a hostel than a typical guesthouse. Breakfast is not included, but there is a large and well-equipped kitchen for guests' use. There is a grocery store nearby if you want to purchase breakfast supplies. The manager was very nice, and she allowed us to use the laundry facility to wash a load of clothes. This was much appreciated after 10 days on the road!

Lovely and spacious cottage with huge terrace and breathtaking view on the fjord and the city. It's just a few minutes from the city but also in the middle of nature. It is amazing place to stay and relax in private hot tub. The cottage is clean and fully equipped with everything you need including a minibar. And the host is lovely and extremely helpful person. It was really great place to stay with great host.
