The location was very close to the city center. It was easy to park, although you have to repurchase a parking ticket every day before 09:00. Not a problem for early birds offcourse. Parkings costs were fair, I believe € 2,00 per day. There were free spaces all the time.

The hotel has private parking, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and check in was very smooth. We had three in our room; parents and one teenager. We were very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and served at your table by very professional staff. The room was amazing with a spectacular view of the perfectly groomed garden and Kilkenny Castle. The location made it easy to see all of the main sites within the townsite and is close to many great pubs and restaurants. A river walk is minutes away and there are plenty of quality shops. Highly recommend fish and chips at Matt the Millar's, just down the hill.

From the moment we arrived until we left, our host was friendly and attentive. Breakfast was lovely and prompt. Just a short and beautiful walk into the city and all the sights!

The welcome was very warm and kind. She showed us a room where we could have a drink whenever we wanted and with nice Easter eggs. The room was very spacious and very clean, not to mention the excellent bedding where once under the comforter you didn't want to move. The bathroom with shower was perfect and bright and very clean with different elements for comfort. The breakfast was very copious and with fresh products. Honestly I can't think of a single negative point. Our host gave us information for visits in the area and explanations on different sites to visit. Location was great, within walking distance to everything. Room was clean and beds comfortable. It is above a bar so expect noise but we decided to join in on the music below. So much fun!

It was small, but clean and comfortable.  Margaret who checked us in, was very helpful and very nice. The room is above a pizza shop but we didn’t find it noisy. We tried the pizza and it was delicious!
