The place is perfect to visit the Plitvice Lakes National Park since it's just a 10 minutes drive from it, and to have a nice relaxing vacation in the hills/mountains. It was chilly in August, which was refreshing after a few days spent in the hot weather on the coast.

The lady was not speaking english, but it was not a problem: she was incredibly friendly and offered us biscuits, turkish coffee and local liquor. The room was very "soviet style", but it was clean and with a very good quality-price ratio. The position was perfect as well

Milka was really sweet :) We ran into a car accident on the way to her guesthouse and had to arrive after our agreed time. Though there was a language barrier, Milka was really understanding, waited for us, and still welcomed us with unbelievable hospitality! We wish we had more time in her guesthouse, it was a quaint and cozy room

A traditional guesthouse experience, my hosts were extremely kind and welcoming. I arrived late at night and at first they were unable to locate my reservation but made me feel right at home and set me up in a room while they worked it out. They did not speak English, but we were able to communicate just fine. For the price, comfort of facilities were as expected. Location was ideal for someone traveling with their own car. Beautiful view and a short 10 minute drive to Entrance 1, market and restaurants. Access to kitchen, wifi and outdoor patio were a must for me.

The kitchen was very good equiped, the whole apartment was comfortable, the room was quite big and the bathroom was also comfortable.
