This location really is a gem! Big, clean, in a convenient location and a very good price for Antigua. I loved the small interior garden and the sofa in front of my room where i worked every day. It is pet friendly and i met handsome Bolt, the furry master of the house. I can reccommend more this location, you really feel at home and senora Nimsi plays a great role in this, she is nice, welcoming and has a really big heart.

Stayed here twice during our time in Antigua. Staff are friendly and can offer suggestions for activities. They did our laundry in the same day after arriving back from the volcano. Would recommend staying here!

We came for the first time to Guatemala and we did not expected such a hospitality and such a lovely accommodation. The hotel is in fact the original very old building right in the middle of historical town of Antiqua. You can feel the history there! The rooms are simple but very clean and comfortable too. Mrs Anayte Godoy and her family were extraordinary hosts. Actually Mrs Anayte made the program for the whole Guatemala trip for us, she booked all the transports and the accommodation by Atitlan lake too- all free of charge. They were more like friends for us then the only providers of accommodation. We were lucky because our week in Guatemala was in "Semana Santa" which made our trip even more special and again-the family of Anayte Godoy was very helpful for us in getting know all the colors of this top religious event in Central America.

The hostel has a good location and the curtains in the beds make the difference to make some privacy. I needed to leave earlier one day for a tour and they let us to grab breakfast before the normal time. Sandra was very helpful to me. I asked for tips for restaurants etc and she would give me the information I needed. Also, the shuttles booked through the hostel have a honest price. Be in mind that in Guatemala the prices vary from place to place. After climbing Acatenango, I returned to the hostel for shower (paid a fee, of course, as I didn't have any reservation that time) and asked for help to get a shuttle, as all contacts that I had tried were full. Sandra was very kind and made some calls, managing to find one for me in the last-minute.

With a very late check-in, we were looking for a place that allowed us to get in with a code, and they delivered. We slept for 4 hours before leaving at 6am for our volcano hike. The room and bathroom were clean. We got exactly what we expected from the low price. Very grateful for a positive experience.

The place is really beautiful, located in a quiet street just a short walk away from the city centre, rooms are spacious and very comfortable (with probably the biggest bathroom I've seen in a hotel). The gentleman working here is very welcoming and nice, plus you get your own keys even from the entrance, so you can come and go as you please. I would definitely stay again!

The hosts were super helpful and friendly, they are well aware of news around the country that may affect your travels and offered useful advice. Only 3 rooms in the Casa and it is easy to make new friends with the neighbour. Coffee and fruit were complimentarily offered.
