Exceptionally nice, authentic apartments, very quite and beautiful place in the mountains. The staff was fantastic, we felt like living at home. The food was very very good. If you want to feel the authentic life in Creta mountains - I think it is the best place to go!

It is very quiet and peaceful, and the landscape and view, especially from the restaurant balcony, is amazing. The place was clean, and the owners were friendly and helpful. Despite arriving at Villa Daskalogianni 3 hours later than planned because our plane had been diverted, Aphrodite was there to greet us, show us to a comfortable room before welcoming us to her taverna just 10m away. Much of taverna’s excellent food and wine is produced locally and we enjoyed eating there both nights of our stay. The hosts were very welcoming and their tavern had fresh, traditional, tasty cooked food. While located in the mountains, the location is very close to the highway and it is very quick to get to the northern beaches.
