The location is far enough to not be bothered by noisy Fira but close enough to walk to. The walk is mostly up hill on the way there so be sure you’re “up” to it. The rooms are extremely clean. The lady who cleans them did a fabulous job each day of our visit. The breakfast is very, very, basic. We had a great tour of the island by Gregory. It was so nice to see it lead by someone who knows & loves it. If you do the tour, I suggest doing it your first day. He shows you some beaches & you can make an educated decision about which one(s) to visit later. The room was cute & comfortable. Air conditioning was so, so nice & needed.
