The reviews are genuine, Pension Panos is a real gem! -Superb hospitality, Stavros will tell you everything about the area and his wife cooks amazing breakfasts with daily fruit from their garden and homemade jams (though be warned, it's like a four course meal and includes dessert- for breakfast) -So comfortable and clean, best sleep I've had on this trip -beautiful garden with flowers and fruits, and can sea the sea from the balcony -close to the best of East Pelion- easy 10 min drive to the beach and 15 mins uphill to a village with great restaurants, and not too far from everything else (25 mins Damouchari, 35 mins Zagora, 45 mins Milies and Portaria). The drives are beautiful and the roads good, it was a pleasure to drive in the spring Overall the best thing is I just felt really welcomed, it was so nice to chat with Stavros about his travels and their life in Pelion and feel genuinely cared for. I'm not sure how to best return their kindness except to tell everyone I know that they must visit and keep this family business strong!

Too bad that the score can be only 10 , I would give it 100 ! We were stranded there for a few days due to Storm Daniel and Efi and her family were truly wonderful, they cared for us like any true human being should care for another ... They shared their food , water and electricity with us, they helped us get home safely! I just cannot say how grateful we are , they are people you can really count on! The location is beautiful , the apartment clean and cozy and we will definitely come back to enjoy the Pelion region!

Located on the coast of the mountain and having a superb view of the sea, Villa Aglaini is the perfect location for a quiet and charming vacation. The fact that there is a generous parking lot, where several cars can easily fit in the courtyard of the property, was very convenient for us. Regarding accommodation, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, being equipped with everything necessary to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The furniture and equipments of the room are a bit outdated, but for those who do not emphasize this aspect, it is not something that should bother them. Especially since it is compensated by the kindness of the hosts and the superb area where Villa Aglaini is located. The cleaning was excellent, the rooms being extremely clean (every day cleaning, including bed linen and towels changed once every two days). We had an apartment located on the ground floor and thus we could enjoy the sunrise every morning with a coffee on one of the terraces arranged in the villa's beautiful garden, overlooking the sea. The hosts made us feel wonderful, being extremely kind and eager to please us. The nearest restaurant is a few minutes walk. For other alternatives in terms of dining, you have to go by car, no matter if it is in Agios Ioannis or in other neighboring towns/villages – such as Portaria, Makrinitza, (approx. 45 minutes of driving). All beaches in the area, even the closest one, Agios Ioannis, can only be reached by car. Considering the position of it and how crowded it was, we did not go to Agios Ioannis beach at all. Instead, we went to Plaka beach (approx. 30 minutes drive) or Agii Saranda beach (approx. 40-45 minutes drive). For all the reasons mentioned above, we will come back to Villa Aglaini again with great pleasure. I also gladly recommend Villa Aglaini to anyone who wants to spend a real... Greek vacation and feel welcome in this wonderful location.

The property is amazing, beautiful garden, beautiful views of the sea & sky, very close to everything, with enough distance from the main street to avoid the commotion but close enough to enjoy the waves sound right from your bed. The room was always clean and had everything you need. The hosts are incredible people, so sweet and caring.

The room was very cozy and extremely clean,same as in the photos. I cannot describe the view, but it was one of a kind. The room was cleaned every day and we had fresh sheets and towels. The lady was very nice. 100% would recommend. Agios Ioannis is very charming as well 😊

Apsolutno nam se sve dopalo u ovom apartmanu. Sam apartman je veći u odnosu na druge objekte koje smo gledali u ovom mestu a i ima parking mesto, koje je nama bilo jako bitno, jer smo dolazili kolima. Apartman je nov, kreveti udobni, sve je čisto i svakodnevno se čisti a na tri dana se menjaju peškiri i posteljina. U samom apartmanu nemate mnogo posuđa, ali zato imate odlične restorane pored plaže sa svežom ribom i kvalitetnim mesom. Supruga gospodina Kostasa pravi savršen doručak koji zaista ne treba propustiti a i koji se poslužuje na velikoj zajedničkoj terasi, okruženi cvećem sa pogledom na more. Naš jedini večernji izlazak je bio do terase našeg apartmana, jer smo uživali u miru i tišini. Plaža u Agios Ioannisu je na pet minuta hoda, odnosno, oko 170 stepenika, nizbrdo i isto toliko nazad. Plaža Papa Nero je na nekih 900 m udaljenosti. Imate i plažu Plaka, koja je očaravajuća, ali do nje se već mora kolima doći. Ukoliko su stepenice problem i do ove dve plaže se može doći kolima. Davno se nisam tako odmorila kao u apartmanu Aegean Blue. A i sam Agios Ioannis ima neku ležernu, opuštajuću energiju.

The apartment was cleaned every day, bed linen and towels replaced every second day. Sea view from the spacious balcony was phenomenal. You can always find a free parking space in the main street near the apartment. You'll have to buy some homemade jams or sweats and/or some great domestic olive oil or honey from the villa owner :)
