Aris Hotel is located at an altitude of 700 metres, in the traditionall village of Anogia. It features bed and breakfast accommodation and free WiFi access.
Each room at Aris is simply decorated and opens to a balcony with views of Psiloritis Mountain. A TV and private bathroom are standard.

We only stayed one night, but it was an unforgettably beautiful night. We were so warmly welcomed by the lady of the house (Evangelia, Ευαγγελία?) with apples, sultanas and raki as you only know it from Greece. Although with only a rudimentary knowledge of Greek, we had so much fun with her and also bought some home-woven rugs. The room is quiet and comfortable and has a priceless view from the balcony. We will definitely be back!

Exceptionally nice, authentic apartments, very quite and beautiful place in the mountains. The staff was fantastic, we felt like living at home. The food was very very good. If you want to feel the authentic life in Creta mountains - I think it is the best place to go!

The apartment was authentically decorated, spotless clean and very comfortable. The view from the balcony was amazing. The highlight was the apartment’s owner, the lovely and charming Miss Poppy, who made us feel very welcome. She invited us for coffee and breakfast and let us see a part of Cretan culture that we could not find elsewhere on the island. We would warm heartedly recommend this place!
