We like everything in the property. The room was clean. spacious enough. a comfy guest room upon the entrance to read books and enjoy wines. The breakfast we’re absolutely delicious with plenty of choices. we stayed there for 3 days. so far the best accommodations we have stayed in UK.

The hostess Evelyn were so incredibly lovely, just as all the other reviews said. She really has created something special here. Dunvegan was just as big part of why I've now fallen in love with Windermere as a town as the rest. Everyone were so kind and we really felt welcomed everywhere. It was so gorgeous and so many lovely shops! I realized the last day that I missed to explore some areas that were close by but I would definitely recommend it all! Sure it could be seen as a "tourist village" with all the b&bs but Windermere still had it all: places to stay, restaurants, shops, grocery stores, cafe's, pubs, laundrette, library and if nothing else it is no problem taking the bus or as we did, walk, to other villages further away. Sure maybe a bit more expensive compared to bigger cities with the shops but I really find it to be worth it. And to help Evelyn gave us really great help and advice of where to go and not to go to not get stuck since there were more or less none returning trips. The breakfast were also really good and Evelyn definitely go above and beyond in my opinion! Thank you very much Evelyn!

I like everything about this accommodation and I had a pleasant stay here in Windermere. The hosts were nice and knowledgeable (I appreciate all the travel tips given) and they had everything I needed. Love the daily service and the little fridge with cold water and milk! The cookies were also lovely!

Maravilloso Bed&Breakfast. Los anfitriones son muy amables y nos ayudaron con todo. La habitación era grande, estaba todo muy muy limpio y, además, la decoración está hecha con mucho gusto al ser bonita y funcional. El desayuno es excelente, con gran variedad de opciones caseras para elegir. La ubicación es muy buena porque está situado entre Windermere (pueblo) y Bowness, donde realmente se encuentra el lago. Es posible llegar fácilmente en autobús o andando desde la estación de tren. La zona es muy tranquila, bonita y segura.

There is no way I can say enough good things about our stay! Such a warm welcome with tea and lemon cake, amazing breakfasts, directions, etc. We did every single thing that Anita suggested from tours to businesses to restaurants and loved every one! Denis and Anita went over and above to make our stay wonderful, even a packed breakfast for us to take for our very early train departure. You won't regret staying here.
