The owners, Mark and Kath, made us very welcome and were highly attentive, especially at breakfast. Coming back from an evening out, we found that the fireplace had been lit, so we settled down in its warm glow. Mark turned up while we were there and gave us permission to have a 'wee dram' from his collection of whiskies. A very pleasant way to end the day. Quite clearly, the owners go out of their way to make their guests feel at home and their efforts pay dividends.

Exterior and interiors could easily be featured in Architecture Digest. All the spaces were well maintained and or updated. The staff anticipated all our needs. The views across the loch were spectacular; lambs, hundreds of them, jumping and cavorting through the air, seeing a car ferry coming into port, rainbows along with howling winds. Afternoon bake goods, tea or coffee, glassware for your personal needs. This BB is one of my two best experiences during six trips to Scotland.

This property is absolutely beautiful, sets right on the Loch. The most comfortable room and bed, I suggest spending a few nights. We only had one as we had problems with our flight cancelling our original flight and we had a ferry to Lewis. It is a magical place and the Inn keeper is great, very kind and accommodating.
