The hotel is situated in a quiet area about 10 minutes drive away from Lerwick (with a fascinating museum on the geology of the islands and the history of their people); the location is very convenient for excursions to another part of the islands every day. My room was equipped with a large fridge (very nice – grab your provisions for the day and be independent), also microwave and an electric kettle.
