Breakfast was made to order every morning, nothing was reheated. Everything was fresh. The room was quiet and faced the back (not the busy road up front). Although the room was a bit small, the ensuite bathroom made up for it. The owners were very attentive, gave us insider knowledge for clothes shopping, and helped us resolve issues with our baggage. The guest house is in a great location : within walking distance of the train station and local bus routes, and has easy access to the roads leading into/out of town.

The room was super clean. The staff were amazing! Professional, polite and smiling all the time! The hotel’s location is perfect, in the city center just 4 minutes from the bus stop. I enjoyed staying here to the max, thank you to the grapes staff!

The staff are very responsive, the rooms were clean, beds comfy, perfect for staying in Southampton before our cruise. They even arranged a van to shuttle us and our luggage to the cruise port for a very reasonable fee and gave us good info on traffic etc, to calculate how early to leave. Great Guest House!!
