Our host thought of everything we might need and left us a welcome gift. We had a great choice of breakfast which changed daily. The views from the lodge were stunning. We were very comfortable.

The breakfasts were excellent and our hostess went out of her way to make my friend and plus my two dogs feel at home. I can thoroughly recommend Scorrabrae as a welcoming and very adaptable place to stay.

Patricia is an amazing, unflappable and incredibly welcoming hostess and a fantastic cook. The breakfasts were freshly cooked and delicious with lots of options. Her dogs are sweet, friendly and great fun. Scorrabrae is a well-positioned B&B with additional self-catering facilities, which was exactly what we needed as a family. Once a pub, the historic building has immense charm and character, and a great view over Scapa Flow from all the bedrooms. The beds were comfy and the heating worked well. Would love to go back

This charming B&B was once a pub and the old bar still remains mixed with a homely and welcoming atmosphere. Our spacious bedroom looked out over the expanse of Scapa Flow. Patricia provided us with one of the best breakfasts we have had in a B&B, incuding fresh eggs from the chickens outside. And we have had quite a few. Centred in the middle of the main island, it was ideal for exploring in any direction by car.

Patricia is a great host and made our stay very pleasant. She went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed and the breakfast was superb. We were travelling with a dog and was really happy that nothing was an issue. Great panorama walks uphill from the property and in close driving distance to both Kirkwall and Stromness. With beautiful horses and other farm animals around it was a great rural break and a really good night sleep:)

This property was located between two largest cities in the Island. Great location and a very friendly host! A huge sitting/dinning area. Cottagey worm atmosphere and a sea view wont disappoint you. Delicious breakfast. Two days is a bare minimum in order to visit all places in offer. Don't forget to visit Stromness and go for a cliff walk by the Gloup!
