The best place in musselburgh to stay in. Very clean tidy and amazing host. Alice will make sure you’re feeling welcomed and at home. We took a large room with multiple beds. Amazing view. Great breakfast and very close from shops. If you like to walk it’s 30 min to the train station or down the street for a bus ride.

Chris and Sinead were incredible hosts and made us feel at home from check-in. The breakfast each morning was something we looked forward to each day. It was restaurant quality (wife asked for a recipe) and the soft background music (personal note here) was spot on. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The property is located near a bus stop, so getting around isn’t an issue. Lastly, it’s a 2 minute (max) skip down to the beach. It’s one block away.

I was there for one night and was not for sightseeing. This room was exactly what I wanted and needed. It was clean, quiet, comfortable and a great value. Nice extras like a kettle with tea and a biscuit awaited me upon arrival. The room was very small, but was all I needed and was perfect. The breakfast was incredible with fresh fruit, fresh muffins and a cooked breakfast served individually. My breakfast was salmon and eggs and was excellent. Last, but not least, the host was very chatty and interesting. Perhaps not everyone's cup of tea, but I loved him. He even let me pet his dogs.

The Scottish Parliament is just 1 mile away. There are more than 7 golf courses surrounding Edinburgh, and Craigentinny Golf Course is 20 minutes’ walk from the guest house.

Everything!! It is even better than all the famous hotel chains I have ever lived in. Abe is so friendly and detail oriented. I need to leave early in the morning and he prepared the breakfast and sent to me at 6:45am, which is impressive and helpful for the full day travel. Hotel room is spacious and clean, you have everything. There is also a bus 44 right in front of the house, so quite convenient. If I come to Edinburgh again, for sure I will book again.

We had the best Indian food at Bombay Lounge. We went to a local pub and although it was packed we didn’t enjoy the food all all. 1/2 price breakfast at Morrison’s grocery. We only did 2 nights, but would have stayed longer.

Bedroom was spotless also shower room it was on small side but everything you needed. Communal sitting room if you wanted .
