I only stayed one night here but say honestly say the staff were so warm and welcoming. The room was basic enough but spotless clean, plenty of towels and great water pressure. Bed linen was crisp nd clean. Bed was also v v comfy.

It's an old stable converted, so barely any windows -- as you can see on the pictures. As advertised, clean, good value for money, great location and outstanding host. We will book again!

Old Glossop can be reached through the park making it a lovely quiet walk. Host provided a travel cot for us and had it set up on arrival.

Location was excellent (lovely and quiet, a babbling brook outside) and the room was spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. Breakfast was good (full english and cereal options), and good selection of food and drinks in the pub. Location of the guest house is very well placed for exploring the dark peak region of the Peak District.
