Without a doubt best bed i have sleept in. It was super cosy to have the bathtub infront of the bed, felt like a prince :) . The owner and the staff was 10/10! I had a special request task for them regarding my wife 40th birthday and they did super good job. Also they were very friendly and gave us good tips about the city.

La camera era pulita e accogliente. La colazione era costituita da un piccolo buffet sia dolce sia salato, ma molto buona. Ottima la posizione vicino all’università, anche se leggermente lontana dal centro che distava, però, poche fermate di autobus.

Robert è stato molto cordiale. Il check-in è stato semplice e abbiamo trovato una stanza pulita con una bella vista. Anche il bagno comune era pulito. Quartiere molto carino vicinissimo a una stazione del treno per raggiungere il centro.

The owner is lovely. She gave us information about where to go in Glasgow. The room is big, location is ok, not far from city centre. Good place to stay 1 night

My stay at Onslow B & B was more than I expected. I arrived at around 11:00 AM and was greeted by a pleasant young woman who offered me a coffee and munchies as she processed me. She let me into my room at that very early time, and that was greatly appreciated. The room was the nicest room I stayed in since King’s House , two weeks prior. It was big! It looked recently painted and renovated. It looked like a 4* hotel room. It was spotless, including the bathroom. It was quiet. It had a really big window looking down on the quiet street. When I got into my room I was still hungry and chowed down on the generous munchies. Onslow was a bit of a hike to the City Center, down the hill and a long walk along Duke Street, but there are many buses. There are many eating establishments, both restaurants and carry-out, on Duke , a five minute walk away. Thomas, the manager (?), was a pleasant man who cooked me two awesome breakfasts for an additional ten pounds. The first morning I had a very nice conversation with him. The second morning I was in hurry to catch my taxi to the airport, and Thomas cooked extra fast for me. If ever I return to Glasgow, I won’t hesitate to stay at Onslow. It was awesome!

The room we received was bigger than what we were expecting. I also loved the way the key was just waiting for us downstairs so we didn't have to unnecessarily interact with any staff, even though they were lovely and let us know a few minutes before check out that we should leave so that we don't have to pay for another day. Definitely recommend!
