Absolutely fantastic place to stay , exceptionally clean , and nothing was too much bother ! Would definitely recommend this place and no doubt will definitely be visiting again in the future!

Amazing staff, very comfortable room, lovely beds. The breakfast was great. Karen was always asking me if I needed anything because I don't drink tea or coffee in the afternoon she gave me hot chocolate and mint tea decaf tea also. Really appreciate the hospitality.

Clean and well appointed. The check in was accomplished by the bartender at the connected Black Horse pub. He was very welcoming and helped us get to our rooms with our bags. The room and en-suite were clean and modern. Security was emphasized. Parking was behind the pub. The price was reasonable.

Lovely to stay somewhere with real character. We loved sitting in the bar in the evening. The two ladies behind the bar were really friendly and we learned some history about the pub. Because we have stayed before we were given a complimentary bottle of wine. Thank you very much x

Great location for exploring Durham on foot. Comprehensive breakfast. Slight issue with convenience for parking car. Would be nice to have Netflix or similar on TV.

lovely character home converted to guest house, great location a few minutes from town. clean and tidy, well equipped, friendly staff and great breakfast. private parking on property and nice Indian restaurant on site.
