Tina is a force of nature: absolutely amazing! She opened her home to us and made our holiday *perfect*. I have seen my fair share of CLEAN places, but this one was an entirely new level of cleanliness--and the breakfasts were the cherry on top. (Some days, literally.) I'm afraid she has ruined all our future holidays though: the bar is set so high now that most likely it cannot ever be reached again.

We booked to stay at Summer Winds at very short notice, late in the afternoon, having been badly let down by a different guest house in the town. Our host, Sue, could not have been more friendly, helpful, attentive and considerate. She responded immediately and brilliantly to our situation and, at the drop of a hat, provided us with a lovely, clean, comfortable room. The room was cosy, with plenty of tea/coffee supplies and a small fridge, a nice touch which we found very useful. The ensuite shower room was spacious, well set up and extremely clean. The guest house is very well located in a quiet road just a three minute walk from the marina, and Sue's genuinely friendly, personal touches made our stay really enjoyable. We can't recommend Summer Winds highly enough. We'll always use this terrific guest house whenever we are in the area.

Hosts were excellent - very welcoming providing lots of local information and always available to speak to. Location is good for accessing the town centre and local pubs/cafes. Parking good. Room was a great size. Very clean with very comfortable bed, good size wardrobe and lots of drawers. Bathroom and shower was a good size and very clean. Good coffee/tea in-room facilities, hairdryer and good quantity of coat hangers provided. Breakfast rooms were clean and spacious. Very good range of drinks, cereals, yoghurts and fruit. The cooked breakfasts were excellent and were made as requested.

Beautiful place, good breakfast, great room. We even had balcony which was very nice to sit in and see the sunset.

The staff were very careful with my diet restrictions. They were gregarious and we had everything we wanted. The food was really delicious. I had the Cambodian dish twice.
