the room decoration and comfort was exceptional, very cozy atmosphere, a sense of 'couleur locale' and good location. The staff was really friendly and helpful and there were many choices on the breakfast menu. All in all, a highly recommended place to stay in Brighton!

Amazing staff - you really feel welcomed by them! They coordinated the time to deliver the keys with me so it was a very smooth process. At my final day I had to leave before the start time for breakfast and they went out of their way to wake up early and prepare breakfast for me - it was such a lovely gesture, I think I've never seen someone do this for me in a hotel! Oh and I cannot recommend enough the breakfast, absolutely amazing!!!

What a place! The owners of this quaint, beautifully decorated hotel are a family of three amazing people. And boy can they cook!🙂 the breakfast is too delicious to describe , abundant and really filling!!! You can say they cook with fresh ingredients using herbs and spices. Freshly baked bread and brewed coffee pots, delicious croissants, large fruit bowls, yogurts..you name it.

John the host was very welcoming when i arrived, he checked me in and showed me to my room. My room was large, spacious, extremely clean and my bed was a dream to sleep in. My room also had a nice balcony with a table and chairs and i was delighted to be able to sit out on the balcony and enjoy coffee's. I will definitely recommend Colson House for the place to stay at whilst visiting Brighton.
