The town is magical, with iconic french architecture and services for a vacation stay including an electric charging station for our EV. We stayed 5 nights with our family and wish we had stayed more. The area had plenty of things to do: Sauvon Chateau, botanical gardens, kayaking in Vedron, plantetarium in Saint-Michel, family cycle path nearby... Frederic and his family were wonderful hosts.

On arriving at La Campagne St Lazare were immediately captivated by the beautiful house and grounds. We received a warm and friendly greeting from Isabelle who offered us an upgrade from a studio to an apartment. The ground floor apartment included an outside sitting area, in which we enjoyed our breakfast surrounded by an array of beautiful flowers, plants and trees. As there is also an onsite restaurant, we booked a table and enjoyed immensely a varied and mouth-watering vegan 3-course meal. The ingredients included vegetables, fruits and herbs grown on the land, as well as locally sourced products. Over the next few days, we enjoyed cooling down in the swimming pool. In the evenings we walked around the Biodiversity trail, experiencing the smell of lavender and taking in nature. We both loved the environmental values of La Campagne St Lazare as well as the location, and we will most certainly come back again.

Nathalie and Marc were such formidable hosts! We had a visit planned in the area and only stayed for one night. We arrived late, and they had prepared everything and allowed us to deal with the paperwork the next day, which was super convenient since we just wanted to sleep.
