The property was located along the very steep hill, roughly 5km from St. Jean Pied de Port. It had an amazing view of the valley that we had just walked through to get there. It is a working farm, so we witnessed a sheepdog moving a herd of sheep from one pasture to another. The pilgrims meal was hearty - soup, lentils, sausages, salad, and cheese made from the milk of the very sheep we’d seen earlier. And the homemade apple tart for dessert was an extra special treat.

We had trouble finding the location. The owner came to pick us up with his car. This never happend to me before. Very friendly and cosy accomodation. Breakfast included and everything was very clean. If we ever come back, this is the place to stay.
