Location excellent, breakfast great. Dinner was also an option and would doubtless have been first class, but we had engagements elsewhere. Owners very helpful & friendly and spoke English whenever they perceived our French was faltering.

We loved the ambiance of Le Chai. The owner, Eric, and his partner made us very welcome and nothing was too much bother. We had a very comfortable room which opened out onto the garden, making it an ideal stay with the dog. We ate dinner with them, which was beautifully presented and cooked, and the Armagnac tasting at the end of the meal ended a perfect day. Breakfast the next morning set us on our way for the long drive home.
