The facilities were excellent. A real French property right in the heart of the wine region, literally next door to a winery and also a 10 minute drive or 25 minute walk to Pauillac centre. The hosts were so accommodating. Pascale and Alex knew the locality and could recommend places to eat and drink. They were available to cater to all our requests for food and drink after we shared our trip itinerary with them. The other members of the team were great too. The breakfast is brilliant as there is a great choice to start the day. A very organised, efficient, yet homely operation at this property.

Warm welcome by the owner despite late arrival. Room very spacious and cozy. A good shower with high water pressure. Nothing was open in this hibernating village and we were super hungry after a long cycling day so the owner brought us a wonderful evening snack from his own fridge - which turned out to be a delicious homemade meal.

Love everything about the property, location and especially about the owner. I was lucky to have the entire chateau for myself - magical experience. The owner is super friendly, really nice guy, full of stories and in true love with wine. He is upgrading the chateau and the winnery these days and produces a great wine!
