The hotel was much better than we expected. The rooms were exceptional. Bathroom was modern, large and nicely appointed. The breakfast was fabulous. Security and parking was great. The bikes were fun. The spa was beautifully appointed with an indoor lap pool. Even had a separate fitness room in the basement.

As a bonus there is an adjoining tea room with outside garden seating which was excellent for enjoying a glass of beer and/or champagne.

The instruction about access were clear and easy to follow. The hosts were not at home but had told us in advance of this. The fittings were new and the bed was comfortable. The room soon heated up and was cozy. We didn't use the outdoor seating area as it was cold during our stay but the garden and setting were delightful. We used Netflix to access English speaking TV.

Gorgeous shop attached to the house and the owner is charming and really helpful. We stayed in the Lavender room which is self contained so very quiet with its own entrance. Great breakfast and we have stayed there 3 times now :) and recommended to friends as well. We all love staying there and eating at the local restaurant called Met Envies - outstanding food 5 minutes walk from La Grange.JayneUnited Kingdom
