Our stay at Dominique's home was a highlight of our visit to Grenoble. Our room was comfortable and quiet, even with the windows open. The AC option was appreciated on a hot day. The home is not in old town, but in a quiet neighborhood a short walk to the tram or just a little farther to the heart of town. Breakfast was generous, with homemade tart, fresh bread and homemade jam, croissants, local cheese, delicious yogurt, fruit, and more. Dominique is a kind and thoughtful host. She provided everything we might need- extra toiletries, a fan, a kettle in the room. She gave us privacy but we appreciated her interesting and helpful information about Grenoble at breakfast. She went above and beyond by leaving breakfast for us in our room the night before we had to leave very early. We would love to return.

The downside was the parking and the hassle taking the luggage upstairs even thought the host was very helpful. There was everything that you wanted in the room and more. there were drinks in the fridge to help yourself to. The breakfast was exceptional with homemade cake and jam and also yogurt and fresh fruit. It is a fantastic place even though the parking is a problem and you have to pay.
