This is a charming house, mixing old and new. It has character but all mod cons. Typical French rural house and gave me that feeling of being in France almost immediately. Madame was also very French and tolerant of my poor French (never any good when I am tired). The yard in front of the house is big enough for any car or small van and large double gates mean it is away from prying eyes (if that is important?). At the end of the lane is the old brick works which was interesting and it meant the short lane was a dead-end ( no through road).
