Stepping into this house is like entering a secret world. The building has been beautifully restored by its supremely talented architect owner. A total joy to be there, even on a grim day/night in January. The garden must be fantastic in the summer. Very comfortable beds and a sumptuous bathroom, and so many clever and sympathetic design details. A huge amount of care was taken to welcome me and ensure I had everything I needed. Delicious breakfast. Endlessly patient with my mangled schoolboy French. All in all, a total delight. I'll be back en famille.

Charming hosts who made you feel very welcome in their perfectly restored 18th Century home as well as providing lots of information on things to see and do around Arras. Large bedroom and ensuite with walk-in rainshower and views over the gardens. Varied breakfast with fresh fruit, local cheeses etc. Secure car parking behind the large solid gates (we had a convertible so this was important). Our new favourite place to stay on the way home.
