The guesthouse itself. It looks much better in actual. Very warm and cosy. With glass walls, I was finally able to enjoy a good view of snow without getting cold. I arrived way too early. I just plan to leave my luggage and go to Santa Village but the host Jussi offered to take me to the village by car. Very accommodating. Really appreciated. The room was very big, comfortable and clean. We had an extra bed. The shower always had warm water. It wasn’t always clean but they did clean it every day and it got dirty because of the other guests. The common kitchen was well equipped and there were some free stuff that we could use like spices, oil and garlic. Great location! The owners are really nice and this place was so homey for us. I would definitely come back again!

Several times I returned to the guesthouse alone at night (after waiting for the northern lights) and did not feel unsafe, even though the streets were virtually empty. During my stay, I had a serious problem and a young long-haired girl from the reception who often came with a large dog (maybe the daughter of the owners of the guesthouse?) helped me in an extraordinary way. When staying in this guesthouse, you can be sure that if you have a serious problem, they will not leave you alone, they will help you.

I like everything about the property. The area also feels very calm. I saw a rabbit pass by the house. Make me like everything. The host gave plenty of coffee and tea. Everything is clean. Location is around 1km away from city centre not far. Walking distance if you like to walk. I will coming back to Rovaniemi next year on March hopefully l can book this property again.
