Hostal Sabina is definitely a good hotel. They serve small meals and menus; also a breakfast for €2,70. You can reach it on foot from France, or by bus from Pamplona (Six days a week, but not on Sundays: duration 70 minutes). Do visit the Pilgrim Mass at 8 PM in the Medieval Church of Roncesvalles. The Hostal has a very nice terrace, where visitors may enjoy snacks and drinks. In Winter you can expect some snow, but the bus from Pamplona always arrives. Nice ride! Roncesvalles breathes an atmosphere of pilgrims who expect to arrive in Santiago de Compostela: only 789 kms away from where they are.

Typical pilgrim hostal. The room was fine (decent bathroom); the dinner and breakfast exceeded expectations! Good value for money.

On my way to Portugal I chose this hotel. It was my second visit to this hotel. The rooms are basic, but the bed is very good and there is everything you need. The hotel is on the camino Santiago so you have to book it a few month before arrival. The place is quiet so you can have a good night sleep.

Our reception was friendly and professional after our long day hiking from Saint Jean de Pied de Port. The reception area was large enough to welcome several trekkers. Our host clearly explained the accommodations, neighbouring restaurants and our breakfast options. Our breakfast the next day was exactly what we needed to set us off on day 2 of our Camino experience.

Hosteria Sabina is very good. It serves good meals for a very reasonable price. The rooms have good television and Wifi. Many pilgrims start the Spanish Road here. In Roncesvalles you may still experience the old "Camino de Santiago", much more than later on during your long walk! (Buses almost daily from Pamplona).
