I like a room with a view & a balcony. Comfortable bed, chairs, bright bathroom. Walking distance to restaurants, cafes, shops, Leon Cathedral, Basilica of San Isidoro & etc. Best churros in town (Heladeria Confiteria). Marcos (Fabrica de patatas fritas) for authentic olives, nuts, pan, candies, chocolate, sardines, cookies & etc. Their homemade potato chips are crisp. Hostal San Martin is in the centre of eateries & Leon landmark. The host is a very sweet, kind & helpful guy. I borrowed a marker pan to write on my black stone from home to be placed on Cruz de Ferro.

The host was fabulous. Everything about the apartment was great: location, view, privacy, kitchen, washing machine, decor. It was a great apartment in the heart of Leon!! Next time I will book it for a longer stay.

Our host was amazing! So much useful information both before arrival and upon arrival. A small room but perfect for a good night's sleep. Ananda had somewhere safe for our two bikes and helped us with our luggage. He was lovely. Thank you.

Everything! Big and comfy room and the location was the best! Just like 3 minute walk to the cathedral and near all the fun. Sergio was very attentive and helpful, he gave me the map and explained all to me at the check in. He is available on whatsapp for any queries and always replies within minutes. Definitely worth to visit :)

Manuel was the most helpful and kind person. He welcomed me and my dog so much. Unknown to me I booked a room without aircon. He said no way for your dog. He needs aircon. He changed my room no extra charge to accommodate my sweet dog. He gave me all the information on the town map and a list of things to see with hours of open and cost. He was the best ever. Chico my dog really liked him. As did I. Thank you Manuel you made my trip.

Location: quiet SAFE street 1 block from the Cathedral. Cozy, small, very personalized attention despite an electronic live video checkin system that was easy. Small room but super comfortable bed and soft bedding, clean and quiet. Loved the 2 receptionists both Elena’s, friendly, super energetic and caring! And the €5.50 buffet breakfast was the best I’ve had in 62 days walking across France (yes!) and now Spain.

Excellent location on quiet pedestrian street by the Roman wall, metres from the Cathedral and easy stroll to the beautiful centre. Way better than we expected at half the price of more touristy towns. Very comfortable room with two balconies and excellent bathroom. Staff had little English but were lovely. When we asked, they gave us a pot of hot water each night so we could make tea in our room. Simple but satisfying continental breakfast of thick toast, orange juice, coffee, cake and fresh fruit. We didn't try the restaurant as it had few vegetarian options, but it has a very good reputation.
