My wife and I are on a bike trip and used this a stopping point along the way. It was a very nice facility in a quiet hamlet. Breakfast was very good for the price and the staff was helpful and supportive. The room was good, though sound travelled easily (but that is typical of most rooms). Bike storage was outside, under cover behind a locked gate. The breakfast area was very pleasant.

If you want authenticity when visiting La Cavada, then this is the place for you! In the morning we ate in a little alcove, looking out to the town. Breakfast was toast and coffee or tea, just enough to start your day off. The owners just couldn’t be more accommodating. We had a language barrier but we used google translate and they loved it! They meet every need we had.

the pictures are not showing the reality of the hotel. rooms are very old and outdated and seems only few rooms are renovated.

We enjoyed the typical Spanish breakfast and ate mostly at the nearby Puerta del Sol restaurant which was excellent. Lierganes is a beautiful old Spanish village in lovely countryside and easily accessible by car or train. The Posada is a lovely place to stay with welcoming hosts who went out of their way to enhance our stay. We also had an opportunity to practise our Spanish with them.

A beautiful property on the edge of the village of Liergenes. Exceptionally well decorated and in lovely condition for a very old building. The bedrooms are very comfortable and plenty of natural light through the windows. The breakfast is splendid and a delight to be served by Cassandra. Reuben and Cassandra are lovely people and very attentive and always ready to chat. A great place to stay for peace and tranquillity. We highly recommend. Noel & Denise.

The host gave us a free upgrade to a room with a balcony. The room itself had wonderful views of the mountains and countryside. We went for a short walk and saw eagles albeit it from a distance. The host got up early to provide us with breakfast as we had to leave early for the ferry

The tortilla was delicious. Well located for exploring everywhere worth exploring as close to all road networks coastal and motorways.

It was easy to get there. Well situated to travel the Santander area. No parking issues, many stores and bars close by.
