It is reasonably priced, particularly considering its prime location, with easy access to tourist sites, restaurants, bars and shopping. My room on the second floor was clean and cozy. I enjoyed great sleeps, as the bed was super comfy and the room at night was quiet and dark. The staff is warm, welcoming and responsive to needs and requests. The host, Ignacio was exceptionally personable and hospitable. He provided great information and tips on restaurants/tapa bars, inexpensive places to buy food, and bus routes to access tourist sites. He went out of his way to ensure that my stay at the hotel and my visit to the city were comfortable, safe, and enjoyable. I was very happy with my stay at El Zaguan and highly recommend it to others.
