The host of Kony Nubian may be the smartest host I ever seen in my trip of Egypt. Without losing any detail, he knows how to arrange guests’ dwelling to maximise their benefit . Also, he could read guests’mind. That’s the reason why I feel like a VIP in the period of staying in Abu Simbel. No doubt, the quality of the “guest house” is the best one I experienced in my trip of Egypt.

Erki House and owner Ahmed are amazing! The location is superb with a short walk to Abu Simbel. I can’t recommend enough staying at least 1 night in Abu Simbel and staying at Erki house! Ahmed is the definition of a great host and will go above and beyond to make sure you have an easy stay. I recommend letting him know what your plans are and he will help you with anything you need. Ahmed got me ticket to light/sound show and day ticket next day for Abu Simbel at same cost if you walk up to window but without hassle of purchasing one at temples. Erki house is spacious, clean and welcoming. The breakfast in the morning that is offered is authentic Egyptian made by his mom. I will be coming back to Erki house when I return to Egypt for sure! You will come as a guest and leave as family! Thanks Ahmed and Erki house!!

What wonderful hosts! Adil and Mona went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and made sure we have everything we need. This is THE place to be in Abu Simbel, with the temple and restaurants all close by in walking distance, although Adil always offered to drive us around town and pick us up afterwards for free. We were treated to free coffee, tea, water and fruits and Mona cooked us a sumptuous breakfast. Thanks for the great, hassle free stay! Love to come back.

It was great! Clean and comfortable. We were 3 people and the apartment was huge for us. Complementary water and soft drinks included and a beautiful souvenir as part of our farewell. A few minutes walk from a good restaurant and the temple.

L’aimabilité du propriétaire. A force de croiser des personnes plus attentives à nos devises qu’à notre confort on devient méfiant. Mais ici on a rencontré une personne sincère qui a prit soins de vérifier que nous avions ce qu’il nous fallait, sans chercher à en tirer un bénéfice financier.
