Pretty place but not really a hostel. There is no male or mix dormitories. Mostly rooms so don't expect too much interaction with other backpackers. But anyway, beautiful place in beautiful town/area!

All the comodities are present, for cooking, washing... There is a TV with Nerflix, which is great. The woman in charge of the keys lives upstairs and she's very nice and reactive. Mi Hogar is locate din the middle of an eco project in the woods on Jarabacoa and serenly quiet (yes, there are roosters - but we are in the Dominican). Michaela also offers massages, which I was fortunate to experience - very recommendable. If you need time away from the lovely (and bustling) coastline, this is it.AlexandraSolo traveller
