This is a really lovely hotel - beautifully maintained and really comfortable. The staff are super friendly and the rooms spotless and peaceful. We stayed in the maisonette with our two children and there was plenty of space for us all. Lovely balcony with views across the valley. Breakfast was fresh and delicious and it was a nice touch having our name on the table, and having the same one every day. The surrounding countryside is stunning and there’s so much to do as a family. Our first holiday in the Schwarzwald (and Germany!) and certainly not our last.

Beautiful location, very comfortable with an excellent breakfast made with fresh local ingredients. I wish we would have had time to eat at the restaurant, but we didn't have time. We will definitely like to return in the future. They have a lift to move between floors, a sauna, and a hot tub. We didn't use any of those amenities.
