It was a delight to stay at Hotel Bären Garni. The owner was so helpful and friendly and gave us many suggestions for our trip to Freiburg. It is easy to travel by tram to the centre and the beautiful Seeburg Park is nearby. We would definitely stay there again.

This is a quiet and cozy apartment almost on the outskirts of the city. Nevertheless, there is a tram stop, shops, and a couple of cafes nearby. Please note that this is a private flat divided into several rooms. The setting is a bit retro, but I liked it. You can swing in a hammock, read a book taken from the shelf, or just sit with a cup of tea, looking out the window at the sunset and taking a relaxation vibe.

The room was big and the lady who runs the pension is very nice and friendly. Very good value for money also. The low price might spund too good to be true but it is a good place to stay.
