Great location in the center of Freiberg. Quiet room with all facilities. Breakfast (simple but good) is served either at the hostel on the same floor or at Café Aldelt (which has some of the best pastries in the city). Manuela, the owner, is friendly and will help with anything if needed. During my stay there was a problem with the Wi-Fi connection and it was resolved overnight.

Oelmuele gets high marks from us. The room was as pictured, with a super comfortable bed. Everything was beyond clean, and...there is even a murphy bed in half of the huge shrank along one wall. The room is not fancy, but is super nice. My favorite part was the restaurant on the ground level. It's as quaint and authentic German as anythiing you could imagine. We only ate breakfast there, and it was excellent--fresh fruit, yogurt, muesli, brotchen, butter, jams, cold cuts of high quality meat, and much more. I will find a reason to be over that way again just to go there. The woman in charge gets highest marks for caring about your comfort and happiness while at Oelmuele. She and the staff are great!
