About a 10 minute drive into Meersburg. Absolutely wonderful staff. My son had a birthday during our stay. I asked if they celebrated birthdays during dinners like in the States - No. But they went out, found a tart, presented it to him and wished him Happy Birthday” in German. Couldn’t get them to sing. Was great. Also experienced an unusual heat wave. German hotels usually don’t need A/C or fans due to their normally cool weather. They searched FRANTICALLY for a fan and found one for us. Really went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and happy.

the friendliness of the host, the playground really adapted for small kids, it is remote from the road and the kids can play in security in the garden. The rooms were really space full . The breakfast was good ! I will come back

The breakfast room was beautiful with the touches of green apple color in their decor. The breakfast was so very good. In addition to the normal European Spread, they also offered fried eggs and their soft-boiled eggs were actually soft boiled. This is a win in my book! Additionally, the bathroom space in the room was very well designed with a great shower.

The personal attention of the owner, Mrs.Heese. She gave me good advice about close-by walks, drove me to Salem Castle and came to open the door shortly before midnight when I had lost the key. All with a smile.
