Located in the old town of Longueuil, Le Refuge du Poète offers easy access, by metro or ferry, to downtown Montreal, 9 km away. It has a terrace, as well as charming rooms with toiletries, refrigerator and a free coffee/tea corner.

The house and the rooms feel very cozy and homey. The location is great, walking distance to a ferry that takes you to Montreal, however other transport options are also available. The shared bathroom wasn’t an issue at all, since we also had a sink in our room and the bathroom was always free when we needed it. Last but not least, the host Louise was extremely nice (and her dog too). She gave us great tips on where to eat and how to get to Montreal. Thank you!

Everything was absolutely perfect. Arrival/entering the room worked without any problems. I could also leave my luggage there the next day. The closest metro stop is just a two minute walk away, so you will still get anywhere quickly!

The house was exceptionally clean and beautiful, very close to the undergrounds green line. Huge shower, super comfortable bed. Jean-Pierre is a lovely host and seems to genuinely enjoy meeting travelers. Highly recommended!

Everything was conveniently arranged, and Marc even offered a complimentary breakfast of eggs and bread, ready in the fridge. For such a lovely stay, I would gladly rate it 5 stars.

Restaurants and shopping are very convenient. 5 minute walk to a bus that goes to the Metro. Louise and her son are very hospitable and helpful. The guesthouse is super comfortable and beautifully decorated. Free street parking nearby.
