For us it was the perfect room in a authentic house (build and embellished with style, attention to details), in a unique city that has left everlasting mark in Bulgarian culture, in a area of Balkan mountains where one is enchanted from everywhere one looks. We felt welcomed from the host Stefan.

Couldn't recommend this Guest House more highly. The arrangement with a private room, terrace and garden all within the house boundary was beautiful and felt authentic. Christina was a brilliant hostess and made us Bulgaria's best banitsa for breakfast - don't miss out on these when you stay! The restaurant next to the main square in Kalofer town centre also provided us with delicious food and entertainment during a biblical storm. From the Guest House we hiked into the central Balkans following the trail to Botev Peak - perfect for anyone looking for a retreat into the wilderness.
