The room we stayed in, Caramel, was beautiful with high ceilings, modern decor, a very comfortable bed with a large TV and a nice bathroom too. The location of the Guesthouse is also ideal, situated in the center. And yet it manages to remain quiet and isolate the noise of the city from the rooms, even when we were in Gent during multiple music festivals happening in the center until late into the night. Overall would highly recommend.

Excellent stay! The lack of a reception is more than compensated by a super simple and efficient automatic system. We received very clear instructions on how to enter the building and how obtain the key. A very relaxing shower and a huge bath in the suite. Lovely!

This is hands down my favourite place in Belgium. We visited 4 different cities, but Alphabed and Gent were diffrent and, in my opinion, the best! The street is quiet but just 5-7 minutes walking to the city center and all the best places in the city. We will def. come back! The staff was communicative, the place was spacious and clean, the bed was comfy and the kitchen (common area) had great design and amenities. The entire place was packed with natural flowers too, a very nice detail.
