It is only a few minutes walk from the lakeside. There has been so effort put into decorating the shared spaces and rooms. There is a huge shared kitchen that is fully equipped for cooking. Everything and I went in summer. This hostaria has everything: nice rooms (and bed), great breakfast, excellent and super friendly owner who can provide you with all sorts of tips about the region. In summer, it's a nice escape from bariloche tourism madness. Also, it's the perfect basecamp for doing hikes in the cerro cathedral area. I do recommend getting a car on the airport so getting around is a bit easier. Bariloche is only 20 min away so having dinner there is a good option; and then quickly back to sudbruck.

The Patagonian Lake House is an excellent place to stay. All rooms have a view over the lake. The interior is very well designed and cozy. In the surroundings you will find nice little restaurants of every price level. Opposite the house there you will find food trucks that offer take away food, within 100m there is a supermarket. You can ask for dinner in the Patagonian Lake House as well. Only 5km away there is the Llao Llao Peninsula, from where you can do hikes, bike tours or boat trips on the lake. The scenery is amazing. You can get there easily with public transport.
